How it all started...
Nursphere® Original Dome Bandages were invented by an Engineer who hated the thought of using gauze or cotton tapes on a burn wound he experienced while making his children his father's favorite chocolate cookies. Instead of using ordinary tape bandages, he used a pair of goggles to enclose his wound.
As a result of the goggles not touching the wound, the wound healed faster simply because the wound was never disturbed during the healing cycle.
Ordinary Tape bandages disrupt the healing cycle, which may lead to your wounds having a greater risk of infection. We, as a company, reject the usage of tape bandages because we know they were inherently designed for touching the wound.
